DESCRIPTION:It's time to get off the side lines and onto the field!  \n\n\n\nSpecial Olympics Maryland - Charles County will be hosting athletes from various counties within Maryland to compete in swimming\, bocce\, and track & field events on Saturday\, 6 May at Henry E. Lackey High School.\n\n\n\nTo ensure the events success WE NEED YOU as a Special Olympics Maryland volunteer where you'll have the opportunity to lend your time and talents to support the athletes and Unified Teammates of Special Olympics Maryland - Charles County!  \n\n\n\nVolunteers come from across the state and from all walks of life to support our athletes.  From high school and college students\, to professionals and retired individuals\, over 6\,000 people have found their place in our many programs.  Whether you are looking for a one-time experience\, a group volunteer opportunity\, or something more consistent and long-term\, Special Olympics Maryland will provide a fulfilling experience for all involved!\n\n\n\nWe\, along with our athletes\, would appreciate you registering HERE and joining us for a great day of competition.
