1,000 Blessing Bags: Community Day of Service & Sponsorship Opportunity

Join Sonia's Faith in Action (SFIA) as we mark our one-year anniversary with a Community Day of Service, and help us make it possible! On October 17th, 50 volunteers, including youth as young as 4, will come together in Brandywine to assemble and distribute 1,000 Blessing Bags: hygiene kits and winter essentials for individuals experiencing homelessness across the DMV. These bags will reach individuals and families through our partner organizations, the DC Coalition for the Homeless, the Latin American Youth Center (LAYC), and Lifestyles of Maryland, extending support across the D.C. metro area and Southern Maryland. We're currently seeking local business sponsors to help fill these bags with dignity and essential care. As a brand-new nonprofit celebrating our first year, every contribution, whether a specific item category, a financial gift, or an in-kind donation, helps us reach our goal of 1,000 bags by the event date. Sponsors receive recognition across our event materials, social media, and website, with top-tier sponsors featured prominently in our post-event impact reporting.
