Enriching Lives Breakfast

As we approach the holiday season, please join Melwood for our end-of-year Enriching Lives Breakfast on December 16th from 9-10 am, and we encourage you to invite your colleagues, friends, and family to attend. It’s a free event that consists of an uplifting hour of high impact stories directly from our participants and the village that supports them to be successful — staff, donors, our business partners, etc. Melwood is one of the largest nonprofit employers of people with disabilities in the country. Melwood has been around for over 57 years and currently serves over 60 federal and military and contract sites in the greater Washington DC area. Many of our employees are on the front lines fighting COVID by cleaning and disinfecting government offices. In recent years, Melwood has also been at the forefront of training people with disabilities, including veterans, for knowledge-based careers in IT and other tech-related jobs. I hope you will join me and learn about Melwood, an organization that I feel passionate about and if you can, bring other friends to this free online event that comes with “breakfast.” Although this is a fundraiser, guests will not be pressured to donate. It is up to us to inspire people to give and if they decide to do so, there will be opportunities to do it at a level meaningful to them.
