Description
Recently, Ed retired as a Unit Chief (LE manager) from the Bureau of Industry & Security, U.S. Department of Commerce. Over his lengthy career with BIS, he took pride in establishing his organization's Export Control Officer Program managing the seven special agents posted to our embassies abroad. He led trade teams consisting of special agents, engineers, and trade specialists concentrating on economic growth to Vietnam, Argentina, Israel, the United Kingdom, South Korea, and other countries not to be disclosed. He continues to hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Ed is a member of the Charles County Chamber of Commerce, Military Alliance Council, and the Southern Maryland Minority Chamber of Commerce. He proudly served his country as a Marine Corps Platoon Sergeant in the Persian Gulf War.
