Description
The Charles County Local Management Board invites you to participate in an experiential learning activity designed to give participants a firsthand glimpse into the challenges faced by those living in poverty. Participants will engage in roleplaying exercises and assume the roles of individuals or families with limited resources. Participants must navigate various societal systems, including housing, healthcare, and employment. This event provides valuable insights into how policies and practices impact the individuals you serve, encouraging meaningful, actionable changes to improve support, accessibility and community outcomes within your organization.
