About Us
Light the Way Foundation (LTWF) is a non-profit 501 (C)(3) organization that provides funding for youth with limited resources in DC, MD and VA, to participate in extracurricular activities. Our motto is "Opening Doors to a Brighter Future."
Since 2010, LTWF provided youth enrichment programs as well as hosted a Summer Film Camp at Howard University and has awarded approximately $55k in scholarships to 110 deserving youth, most with very limited resources, as well provide an outlet for them to participate in a variety of enrichment programs in the Charles/Prince George’s County and Washington, DC area. In addition, LTWF mentor and provide outreach programs focused on educating and empowering youth. LTWF motto is "Opening Doors to a Brighter Future." LTWF believes structured activities are important because they promote social skills and self-pride.
