About Us
Stella's Girls' mission is to educate and empower girls and young women to become leaders, social change agents, and advocates in their community. We offer mentorship, STEAM programs, and personal development activities to achieve our sustainable development goal of gender equality reaching 2000 girls by the year 2030.
The vision of Stella's Girls is to develop more confident female leaders to be equipped and passionate about leading their communities, as well as organizations, businesses, schools, and agencies domestically and internationally. We work to contribute to a society where female leaders will no longer be viewed as exceptions to the rule. We strive for women leaders to be considered relevant assets and necessary additions to organizations globally.
We seek to ensure that all women and girls, aged 12-30 years, have access to adequate and affordable education. We empower the young women who we work with to value their entire selves. We work with them in discovering and developing their inherent strengths, as leaders and as females. We look toward the future as these young women and the volunteers that work with them become those leaders. These young women continuously teach friends, families, and members of their communities what they have learned. They educate other women on how to feel worthy and become advocates for other girls and women. They become leaders
.
It is here that girls learn to value their entire selves, discover and develop their natural strengths, and get the support they need to overcome the challenges they face.
