VSC Group, Inc. and Shea Xpress Partner with Charles County Chamber of Commerce to Support Local Students and Women Abroad
Waldorf, MD — VSC Group, Inc., in partnership with Shea Xpress (Yisobee Naturals) and supported by the Charles County Chamber of Commerce, is proud to announce the launch of the Charles County Feminine Hygiene Product Drive, a community-powered competition running from September 1 – October 31, 2025.
This initiative aims to provide critical feminine hygiene products to underserved students in Charles County Public Schools as well as to women in Ghana, helping to ensure dignity, health, and equal opportunity for those in need.
“This is more than a drive — it’s a chance for our business community to lead with impact,” said Vetoya Smith, CEO of VSC Group, Inc. “When we come together, we don’t just collect products — we open doors for students and women who deserve the chance to thrive.”
Be a Drop-Off Location: Local businesses (small: 0–50 employees; medium/large: 51–100 employees) are invited to register as official collection sites. Each location will receive a Certificate of Participation, and the top collectors will be recognized in the Chamber newsletter and at the November Chamber Networking Mixer.
Be a Donor: Community members and customers are encouraged to contribute by dropping off donations at participating businesses. Every product counts — 100 products equals support for 25 students for a month.
Registration Deadline for Drop-Off Locations: August 30, 2025
Donation Window: September 1 – October 31, 2025
Recognition of Winners: November 2025 Chamber Networking Mixer
Businesses and community members alike are encouraged to join the effort. Together, Charles County can make a lasting difference both locally and globally.
